    A gentle wave located in front of Awera Surf Resort, making it perfect for beginners.

  • Telescopes

    A flawless left-hander with multiple sections for barrels or turns, easily reached from Awera Surf Resort, Togat Nusa Retreat, or Villa Mentawai. Telescopes performs best with a SW swell and SE winds, offering a perfect left.

  • Iceland

    This swell magnet delivers big-wave thrills, often towering 2-3 times bigger than Telescopes on pumping days. With waves recorded at 20ft, Iceland is perfect for adrenaline junkies equipped with step-up boards.

  • Suicides

    A heavy, unpredictable left-hander with gnarly barrels breaking over a shallow, live coral reef. This wave is reserved for advanced surfers and best surfed at high tide for safety.

  • Promises

    A tricky right-hander that offers a unique challenge for advanced surfers seeking a novelty ride.

  • Twiggies

    A hollow, uncrowded left-hander that works well on SW swells. Suited mostly for experienced surfers due to its shallow inside sections.

  • Hookers

    A rare, wrapping left that needs a big swell to come alive. This challenging wave can be fickle but rewarding.

  • Arikis

    A lesser-known, speedy right-hander breaking over shallow reef. Arikis delivers solid barrel sections and performs best on a higher tide.

  • Scarecrows

    This dependable left-hander, located in front of Togat Nusa Resort, picks up plenty of swell. Bigger days call for more effort paddling out and a larger board. Scarecrows offers great barrel opportunities on the inside after carving up the outside section.

  • 7-Palms

    A shifty left with random peaks, this spot is rarely crowded and picks up ample swell. However, it can be tricky to navigate.

  • Bintangs

    A short, punchy right-hander with a shallow reef that produces incredible barrels on its day. Though the ride is brief, it’s highly rewarding.

  • Monkeys

    A fun, uncrowded left-hander that picks up plenty of swell. Monkeys is just one of the many waves accessible near Kingfisher Surf Resort.

  • Bintang Beachie

    Stretching from Kingfisher Surf Resort to Bintangs, this long beach offers playful peaks on smaller, shorter-period swells. Occasionally, it can surprise surfers with something extraordinary.

  • Lance’s Left

    A highly consistent, fun left-hander situated in front of Kingfisher Surf Resort. Lance’s Left offers a solid barrel section and plenty of space for turns.

  • Cobras

    Located at the top of Lance’s Left reef, Cobras is a cylindrical, barreling left. This shallow and challenging wave can sometimes rival Lance’s for the best barrel. It’s most reliable on S swells.

  • Lance’s Right (HTs)

    One of Indonesia’s most iconic waves, Lance’s Right sits directly in front of Katiet Beach Resort. On its best days, this flawless right-hander delivers mesmerising, 8-second barrels from takeoff to the channel. It thrives on a unique mix of W swells and W winds.

  • The Bombie

    A shallow reef in Katiet Bay that’s ideal for longboarding or foiling. Occasionally, it can deliver a surprisingly fun wave.
